Love’s Self: The Chosen

Why did God give us choice?  God didn’t.

As a matter of fact, God said “Do not eat from that tree.”

There was no choice there.  As a matter of fact, choice is the problem.  Choice– the division, the conflict, the separation, the double-mindedness, the ego.

The problem is not the choice Adam and Eve made but the fact that Adam and Eve made a choice.  The believed, incorrectly, that there was an option other than what already was.  Obedience is fate. Fate is obedience.  Adam and Eve believed in their own selves, apart from God, in their “choice.” This is illusion and this is death, and death itself is an illusion. There are too many illusions of choice.  This is why it is our “job” to give up our choice, our pride, our devil. We took on the pride, the choice, the devil, ourselves apart from god, now we must give up ourselves and our choice in order to be saved. We condemned ourselves. We do it daily. We do it moment by moment. We are to be saved moment by moment by realizing the true choice is choiceless.

Now, onto the matter of will and whether or not you can disregard your own will. Can God make a rock even he/she/it can’t move? We might want to tackle who/what God is at some point…not that I know.

The woman has her ovaries. The man has his testes. They both have something/lack something in between. They both have eyes. As above, so below.
